Note: This whole blog post, titled 'Ego-Submission-Within', is Spiritual Creative-Writing, which is an exercise within experience,
that 'I' call 'Reflective-Reference Through the Spirit (Presence).
Purpose: To Spiritually Discern,
Through the Presence of my own experiential-perception (Intuition),
the identifying factor of 'attraction',
of some 'thing' within experience,
as indicated by the Spirit,
and within that examination,
is His Explication,
for one's (my) Spiritual-Direction.
This is all created spontaneously, within the Spirit.
Please Listen with your Inutition and Reflective-Reference Through the Spirit of You've Got That Power Over Me, by Dermot Kennedy.
Backstory: I daily take a Point of Interest that the Presence has drawn into my Attention and 'Reflectively-Reference it. The song, You've Got That Power Over Me, showed up, for some reason, within the list of music I was listening to while running. It so-captured my attention, within the Moment and its Movement, that I Intuitively Knew I had to 'Look-Deeper' into it. This is done through Reflective-Reference, or the 'Sitting Within the Spirit', as one examines some- 'things-content' (I guess I view my own 'ego' as a 'thing'!).
In this way, the ego is not 'manipulating the situation', and instead, an inner-transparent-Love is Exercised towards it, as one 'exposes himself to Himself' - completely, genuinely, honestly, and in every other way that is lovingly-conceived, within the moment.
What occurs by this activity, is the increase in synchronicity,
as well as ephiphany and miracles,
within one's Awareness of his own Through-Experience of the Presence.
From this initial 'something' within my Attention as his Prescription,
I go about the day.
Then, I review the information, whatever it is, and I meditate about it.
It could be as simple as a video, whose lyrics 'make sense' to me, but I want to know specifically, why.
So this means I must take responsibility, and examine the evidence of the Intuition, within the first moment possible.
Simply, Reflective-Reference is Creating within the Presence. It is also, experientially, the feeling of Joy within His Spirit.
So, I just allow it all to unravel-within, during meditation, or whenever the moment begins,
and I find myself within, with Him.
Nevertheless, I have taken this 'Presence-Introspection-Process' a step-further,
and fully dismiss my conscious-awareness of limitation-perception (or my ego),
and then turn 'inwardly-completely',
while simultaneously observing a 'Pin-Point-Position-Within'.
Then? Well, I open my eyes to physical reality,
and just look Through whatever is there.
For example, when I draw using this method,
'I' am not Present, but instead 'I' am just a 'watcher.'
I see the Spiritual Lines upon the paper,
of which 'I' copy.
This bit of 'my' Living-Expression - the drawing without 'conscious-circumscription' -
well, it is a 'Strange Reality'.
That is what it seems like, at least, to me.
It is a Spiritul way of Living within The Presence -
in a Creative Way, without one's eyes closed!
Ha Ha Ha. Soooo Funny!
Also, body consciousness 'falls away' completely in this relaxed, transparent-vision Through Him.
I also often experience what seems to be multiple dimensions at once,
within the Awareness of this 'Shifted-Consciousness-Experience,'
wherein there is no 'ownership, success, failure, or equivocations,
there is a movement Beyond the actual experience occuring, and That is The Presence -
and He is Always Pointing,
at something else within-beyond-and-through,
whatever I am experiencing.
So, you see, within these written and artistic expressions, really,
He is just my Best-Friend,
who Always Provides Flawless Directions via Intuition.
Overall, Located in this Center-Within,
of Spiritual no-complication,
I laugh, smile, and pray,
in the 'Moment-Always'.
The Presence-Reflection of "You've Got That Power Over Me."
What happens, when you get to the point within your own experience,
that you arrive at a 'crossroads', wherein you consciously Realize,
you have become someone - anyone - that you do not prefer to be?
You feel that 'everything is okay', you've got bliss, but the setting is incomplete, in some way.
It is the feeling of knowing that, 'just around the corner,' there is going to be the experience of miracles...
but you have no expectation, just an Intuition.
How is that experience built? What is that backstory like?
Well, this video tells a version of that 'backstory', because "who" a human being is, is not their experience.
Nevertheless, if one does not have the Presence, the worrisome situtation for the consciousness,
is to become one's own reaction (ego-circumscription).
That is what has happened to this young woman, without the Presence. It is easily discerned in her reaction.
Having the Presence AS one's consciousness-experience, effectively moves one's awareness Beyond that limitation,
of the initial 'emotion, thought, belief' way of living.
Living only in the moment, with a 'backstory' such as this may seem impossible, as it is such a 'struggle' within experience, and the majority of people 'get caught up' in it.
(Note: A 'Backstory' is a narrative that provides a history or background context,
especially for a character or situation in a literary work, film, or dramatic series.)
At least, the above description of 'crossroads' seems to be the thematic nature of this song.
A Possible theme might be something like: 'In Dylan McDermott's video-rendition of 'You've Got That Power Over Me,' his 'unwavering-voice' recycles inner-limitation-perspectives that are associated with emotions, giving them the Power over his own identity, or 'Me', to another human being. Emotions of the caliber described within this work, are the type that orbit the Presence. I mean, they are the inward movement of the Soul, in an attempt to 'capture' the passion (and not the pain). Living like that can feel really, really complicated. This is why her passion is so unwavering, and she 'wins' through her focus.... But to what effect? Who has she become by living within her own reaction?
Well, the song is called, 'You've got that power over me,' so now that we know the whole story of her inner and outer struggle, the 'Power over 'Me',
is an identity within Living Life that is expressed. The conditions of the girl's living situation - an alcoholic father, and a 'fighting disposition as a reaction' - that is lamentable, yes.
Nevertheless, and ultimately, that girl has to now progress in life with a 'fighting-disposition', which is a violence-limitation, which is the experience of her young reality. It should not be a wasteland absent of any Spiritual Love (except for her sister, seemingly).
To ascend from that inner-position, one would need a New-Prescription for Living.
So, when the Presence has presented a situation that is seeminly 'out-of-your-control' (which seems the topic of this transcription), the prescription is that your inner Position be stilled, so that, through this-focused within, you will see your own Reflection, within Him (Peace).
Note: I have found reflective-referencing topics He brings to my attention, the most effective Process of Living. So, lets be clear that the above is an example of this process, for myself, in Through The Presence explication of a song. I notice what is within the content, and observe without judgment, what is 'intuitively indicated' as 'Points' of Reference for myself. Someone else may have a different experience, and that's okay, because our options are limitless - we only want to perceive 'our own identity' that is His Presence within the Reflection This is an inner distance of understanding, without wanting. You see, the condition of life, at least for me, is one of a vision of my experience, as Completely Constructed out of Opportunities for Spiritual Instruction and Growth, in some way Through Him, within every moment. There is no Limit.
So, an example conclusion for the young fighting female in this video, is that she appears to display an emotional-distance from her father, who is enraptured by liquor. That is a very-limiting scene, of a dark-dimension, but in reality, I'm sure there are many young people in the world, who want to know how to love another human being after that, because it seems conceptually difficult with this type of 'conditioning.'
Let's just stop, and say that thought is worth dismissing!
Beyond-Realization of an experience through Reflective-Reference, can only be accomplished Through the Presence, within oneself. So, if you actually take the time to sit and relax, focus your eyes upward, and your consciousness inward, and focus on your breathing at the nostrils - well, then That is extremely helpful to narrow your focus in the beginning. Positioned inwardly thus, and allowing thoughts to flow-by one's awareness, with gentle acknowledgement, and then 'gifting them to Him' - then, experiential-perceptions of your own 'Spiritual-Vehicle-Within', will 'Begin to Be' Apparent. You will be Strengthened.
One more thing that the lyricist is sharing, is the idea of 'losing oneself' in another, to the Point that she is lost within the inner Reflection of that person. That is a tricky situation, it seems, for the Soul's expression of the Presence (Peace, Love, Bliss, and All-That), to show up. The funny thing is, this is all Him (The Presence) anyway. These are His Words, His Expressions. 'I' am only watching, through His Experience, now. Because of this, I-See her only recourse is as above-described. Then, in the Through-Application within meditation, and within the movement of the breath's awareness, Peace Will-Present. That is the Presence. That is Him; He Will-Provide Direction. So, sit There and Reflect Through-Him. That is His-Prescription to a difficult situation. Then, humility, gratitude, and His Grace ensues.
And then? Through Him, one will Always find Peace-Within.
Side-note conclusion - Observations of the Singer's Presentation
The humorous part though, about this song's lyrics, is the paradox of the dual-position that is its reflection of the singer. I mean, the 'loss' of power spoken about here, within my Intuitive Perception, is of the singer's 'ego', in its entirety. To my perception, he is running to God, if one only hears the song. I had not seen this video, until just before this Reflective-Reference began.
Further, that he is 'enraptured' within physical reality, evident by his passionate-effort via the literal sounds within his vocal-expression... well, the combination speaks to one's Intuitive Perception,
wherein it now-seems to me, that he is singing about the Power of this Presence,
over his 'decision-making.'
Funny. I see Him in Everything. It is all a Paradox (The Presence).
Overall, this entire Reflective-Reference is about ego submission-within.
Oh, and I Love that he actually swoons, adoringly, lovingly, submissively, through the use of his language. HE IS DEVOTIONAL.
He has even given it a title, and called it 'Power.' But, the really interesting thing I intuitively percieve, is that the irony of his magnetic-ardor, will only draw this life-expression topic closer to him (The Power of the Presence), and he will continue to experience the actual thing he sings about, Indefinitely... The Presence - at least That is what 'Attracted' 'me' to this song, initially.
